Efficient Navigation App for OrangeCar Drivers
OrangeCar Driver is a dedicated application for drivers working with the OrangeCar ride-hailing service in Jordan. It facilitates trip management by allowing drivers to accept and manage ride requests efficiently. The app does not serve passengers directly, as there is a separate application for ride requests. Key features include a straightforward login process using a phone number and verification code, alongside new driver registration that requires personal and vehicle information submission for account approval.
The app offers functionality to activate or deactivate availability for ride requests, receive notifications about nearby ride offers, and manage ongoing trips by updating their status until completion. Drivers can also view their trip history, earnings, wallet balance, and transaction records. The app utilizes precise GPS tracking to provide location services during active rides, ensuring that drivers can be located by passengers only during the trip.
